Sphere Studios has unveiled the next step in state-of-the-art single-camera filmmaking. The reason for Blue Sky , a cinema camera with an 18K and 316MP HDR sensor.
The unprecedented camera comes with a 3-inch sensor and 18,432×8,704 pixels, capturing images in exquisite detail, enabling filmmakers to crop, pan and zoom while maintaining extreme image quality.


Recording video with this particular camera opens up new possibilities in post-production, giving great freedom and creativity to filmmakers. But beyond the high resolution, Big Sky offers a wide dynamic range, capturing shadows and highlights with extreme precision, enabling filmmakers to achieve the desired aesthetic effect even under difficult lighting conditions.
It also offers interchangeable lens mounts, image stabilization and multiple connectivity options, making it a versatile tool that adapts to different filming and workflow scenarios. Currently not available for sale yet.
