Netflix just canceled a very popular series!
A few days after the premiere of the new season
Netflix continues unabated to cut its series and we just learned that it has canceled another one, which was also very popular. We are talking about Warrior Nun , a show that was quite successful with its 1st season , but it seems that the recent 2nd season did not attract a large audience.
As Deadline reports , Season 3 has been canceled and the entire show as a result. The creator and showrunner, Simon Barry , took to his official Twitter account and thanked the fans for their love.
I just found out Netflix didn’t renew Warrior Nun. Thank you to our fans for the love they showed me, the cast and the entire production. It was a great privilege to be a part of it all.
In Season 2 , which aired a few weeks ago, we saw the following:
Ava and the other OCS warriors must find a way to defeat the angel Adriel as he and his followers attempt to dominate the planet.

Warrior Nun’s synopsis reads:
An orphaned teenage girl wakes up in the morgue to discover she has the superpowers of the chosen Bearer of a secret sect of demon-hunting monks.
As for the cast, Alba Baptista played Ava Silva, while alongside her we also saw Toya Turner, Tristán Ulloa, William Miller, Thekla Reuten, Lorena Andrea, Kristina Tonteri-Young, Olivia Delcán, Meena Rayann (Game of Thrones), Jack Mullarkey (Vikings: Valhalla) and Richard Clothier (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them).
