The Walking Dead: Filming for Rick and Michonne’s “epic love story” has begun

The Walking Dead universe is growing and in the future you will see many new shows with spin-offs and prequels. One of them is The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne , which will continue the adventures of the central characters played by Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira .
Now, some interesting information has come to light, which states that the shooting of the series has already started. As Bloody Disgusting reports , production began last week in New Jersey, and the six episodes will air on AMC in 2024.
In case you don’t know, this show will be a “mini” and promises to continue the love story of the two characters, as well as the war with zombies.
TV’s Michonne previously stated that you will see an epic love story:
It is without a doubt an epic love story. It is still “rooted” in the world we all know, but also in a world that has yet to be known. So I think it has all of that creation that has always made The Walking Dead great, the characters, the world, the action and the survival instinct. And at the same time, it is a deeply familiar thing with a familiar history. I think it will satisfy everyone. I hope so…

Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and what they were in a place and situation they have never seen before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Winners? Without each other, are they even alive – or will they find that they too are the ‘walking dead’?”
Spinoffs that will expand on Robert Kirkman’s post-apocalyptic zombie world “will satisfy core audiences and bring in new audiences,” Dan McDermott said recently during the AMC Networks Summit. The network head added that the cable channel and AMC+ will focus on not making viewers feel “too familiar” with the long-running franchise.
The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne does not yet have a premiere date.
