Intel revealed ahead of time the specifications of the 13th generation Core CPUs
A literal leak from the inside
In a few weeks from now, the 13th generation of Intel processors , codenamed ‘Raptor Lake’, is expected to make its market debut . Even though the technical specifications , information on the overclocking possibilities , even benchmarks have already been leaked , now Intel is also joining the game of leaks.
Yes, you read that right. The company itself has now revealed some of the technical specifications for three of the 13th generation models. The internal leak was made through the post ‘ How to Choose a Gaming CPU ‘ on Intel’s official website, where the maximum P-Core frequency and the number of cores of the Core i5-13600K , Core i7- 13700K and Core i9-13900K . The post was up for a few hours, which of course was enough for the information to spread around the internet.
The previous leaks are practically confirmed, and the Core i9-13900K will come with the impressive number of 24 cores (8 Raptor Cove high-performance cores and 16 Gracemont energy-efficient cores), which can process 32 threads. On the other hand, the Core i7-13700K will have 16 cores (8P+8E), with the ability to process 24 threads, while finally, Intel’s page also confirmed the specifications of the Core i5-13600K. This more affordable model will come with 14 cores (6P+8E) and 20 threads.
In fact, the frequencies are also of particular interest, which seem significantly raised and concern the maximum of the P-core, which theoretically is not the maximum that Turbo Boost Max 3.0 mode can allow.
The technical specifications of the three new Intel processors, according to its official website:
Intel Core i5-13600 K:
- Up to 5.1Ghz maximum frequency for the P-core
- 14 cores and 20 threads
Intel Core i7-13700K:
- Up to 5.3Ghz maximum frequency for the P-core
- 16 cores and 24 threads
Intel Core i9-13900 K:
- Up to 5.4Ghz maximum frequency for the P-core
- 24 cores and 32 threads
At this point it is worth mentioning that if the rumors are true, Intel is expected to reveal everything officially on September 27th.
