Ancient Greek Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming to Xbox Game Pass

A surprise addition

As part of the special presentation it had prepared for Tokyo Game Show 2022, the Xbox team made a surprise announcement for Xbox Game Pass subscribers , flavored with Ancient Greece.

Specifically, from today, Thursday, September 15, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be added to the subscription service . Both Xbox console owners with an active subscription and PC Game Pass members will be able to enjoy Ubisoft’s open-world game.

At this point it should be mentioned that the title has been upgraded for both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, offering gameplay at 60FPS, through an update that “transforms” the experience according to the experts of Digital Foundry.

In fact, this is not the only game in the series on Xbox Game Pass, since a few weeks ago Origins in Ancient Egypt was added, which was the beginning of the RPG transformation of the franchise.

In case you want to know more about the game, the Unboxholics review highlights:

It’s very easy for me to recommend Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Ancient Greece created by Ubisoft is enchanting. This is one of the most beautiful worlds I’ve ever seen in a video game. No exaggeration. It is an incredibly convincing and vivid representation that honors our rich heritage. The game has its flaws, but I think it’s worth turning a blind eye to experience Odyssey’s mind-blowing Ancient Greece. But regardless of the setting and its story is very good, with twists that you don’t expect, the implementation of the RPG element has been made with substantial decisions, the combat is improved and in general the game is a click higher than Origins. Overall as a package it has an impressive amount of content, with great vision and scale. Odyssey. Name and deed.
