Samsung Galaxy S24: We learned what processor the next model will have
According to a well-known leaker
In the last twenty-four hours, a rumor circulated on the internet that Samsung intends to use one of its own Exynos processors for its upcoming flagships, the Galaxy S24 .
In case you don’t know, this year the Korean giant made one of the most welcome changes that the European community has been asking for for years. In particular, it released globally the S23 with the same Snapdragon processors, unlike in previous years when only American consumers had access to models with Snapdragon chips, since for example the S22 had an Exynos chip in Europe.
The said rumor, then, made many users worry about whether Samsung really intends to adopt its previous strategy again. The landscape was finally clarified by the extremely reliable leaker Ice universe, who countless times in the past has leaked information about the company’s plans that turned out to be true.
In particular, Ice universe emphasized that the chances of the Galaxy S24 series smartphones adopting the Exynos 2400 are zero. In fact, he mentioned that the 4nm manufacturing process is not the only problem with Exynos chipsets, as there are several other flaws in the general design of the SoC. The most likely scenario, then, is that all S24s worldwide will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
In any case, the Galaxy S24 is sure to be a very powerful smartphone, as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is expected to offer a significant performance boost over its predecessor. The Galaxy S24 will likely have other impressive features as well, as it is already rumored to be equipped with a flexible camera system that will have even better zoom capabilities.
Of course, if Samsung sticks to its schedule, the Galaxy S24 is expected to launch in February 2024.
