Will Harrison Ford come to the MCU in the position of a well-known character?
According to new reports
As reported by SlashFilm and Jeff Sneider of The Ankler , Harrison Ford is soon to make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Yes, you read that right! The Star Wars and Indiana Jones actor is rumored to have signed on for the MCU as well and is set to make his first appearance in Captain America: New World Order , which is slated to hit theaters in May 2024.
In fact, Ford is indicated to take the place of a well-known character, embodying Thaddeus Ross . It is a role previously held by Oscar-winning actor William Hurt , who passed away at the age of 71 in March this year. The character is quite important and has had a total of five appearances in Marvel movies over a decade. This means that we will see Ford as Ross, not only in the new Captain America, but also in another huge Marvel project, Thunderbolts , which will close the 5th phase of the MCU in 2024.

According to Sneider’s information, Disney had convinced Ford to sign on before the recent D23 Expro, but decided to withhold the information because he wanted all the spotlight on Indiana Jones 5 due next summer.
At this point it is worth noting that although these are reports that cross multiple sources, the above information has not yet been confirmed with any official announcement. Therefore, we recommend that you exercise caution.
