Warner Bros. Discovery announced how many subscribers HBO Max has

Warner Bros. Discovery has officially announced how many people worldwide subscribe to its services. It now has nearly 95 million subscribers who watch HBO, HBO Max and Discovery+, he said. Of course, HBO Max has seen a huge increase in the last few months due to House of the Dragon , which played a very important role.  

During its financial results for the third quarter of the year, which began in July and ended on September 30, the company brought to its services 2.8 million subscribers worldwide.

And while it’s approaching 100 million, subscriber growth for the quarter wasn’t significant. In the US, HBO, HBO Max and Discovery+ saw growth of just 500,000 new customers.

For example, Netflix added 2.4 million new subscribers in the third quarter and has a total of 223 million worldwide.

David Zaslav, who is CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery said:

We are redesigning and transforming the organization for the future. We have a lot of work to do and there are still some tough decisions to be made. We are absolutely convinced of the opportunity before us.
