Nudity is now allowed on Tumblr  

Along with other types of adult content

Tumblr has made a big announcement, changing the rules of adult content on the platform. The company has changed its community terms of use and will now allow nudity, but not sexual acts.

We welcome a wider range of expression, creativity and art on Tumblr, including content that depicts the human form (yes, that includes the naked human form). So, even if your creations contain nudity, adult content, or sexual themes, you can share them on Tumblr using the appropriate Community Tag. Visual depictions of sexual acts are still off limits on Tumblr.

An exception to the bans will be ” historically important pieces of art ” that can be found in museums and depict sexual acts.

We are not here to judge your art, we simply ask that you add a Community Label to your adult content so that users can filter it out of their preferences if they wish.
