Galaxy S23: The camera upgrade is available in Greece
Along with the security upgrade
Samsung had promised an update to solve some minor problems with the Galaxy S23’s camera, as well as improving other features. After a week of making the upgrade available in South Korea, today it’s Europe’s turn. Greek users will see the April 2023 security update available, which also contains the camera updates. Specifically, it is the firmware version S91xBXXU1AWC8 with a size of 930MB.

Samsung therefore offers a solution for those who want faster autofocus. The AF function has been changed so that when the user presses the shutter, the focus is done immediately even if they have not found the perfect spot. However, if you want to capture the photo only when focus is complete, you need to change the setting by downloading Camera Assistant from the Galaxy Store and selecting Prioritize focus over speed: ON.
Also improved video sharpness and flickering when Super Steady mode is enabled, and added instructions for shooting video with the ultrawide camera in low light conditions. Video stabilization in FHD capture at 60fps when you have Auto FPS off has also been improved, and you can now delete photos from the Gallery that haven’t finished processing yet.
You can check if the update is available by selecting Settings > Software Update .
