Elon Musk will give someone else the management of Twitter

And clarify the “when” too

With shocking developments coming one after another from the Twitter front , Elon Musk continues to be in the limelight. Now, the new owner of the social network has been asked to talk about his role in the platform, Tesla and SpaceX , in the context of a lawsuit related to the huge sums paid by Tesla.

So, answering a question from Tesla’s lawyers, Musk stated emphatically that he does not want to be the CEO of any company and that in the future he is going to appoint a new CEO for Twitter.

Honestly, I don’t want to be the CEO of any company.

In fact, he then hastened to clarify that his role differs from what most have associated in their minds with the title of CEO. Specifically, Musk emphasized that he deals with the technologies developed by his companies and does not stay only in the business part.

At SpaceX, I’m actually responsible for designing the rockets and at Tesla for the car technology that makes them so successful. CEO is often thought of as a role that focuses on the business side, but in reality, to me, my role is much more of an engineer who develops technology and makes sure that we generally develop breakthrough technologies and that we have a team of incredible engineers who can achieve those goals.

In particular with regard to Twitter, in the context of the trial Musk made it clear that he does not want to be in charge forever and instead intends to give the role of CEO to someone else in the future.

I expect to reduce my time on Twitter and find someone else to run it over time.

It is worth noting, of course, that this is not going to happen in the immediate future, as the tycoon clarified later, through a related post on social media.

I will continue to run Twitter until it reaches a strong point, which will take some time.

For the record, beyond Twitter, Musk is the head of Tesla, a company that has changed the car space in recent years, through its electric proposals and the development of autonomous driving technology. At the same time, he played a key role in the creation of PayPal, thus shaping the way we do business over the internet, and he has also founded SpaceX, which has achieved a lot in the field of aerospace technology. At the same time, he is also the founder of The Boring Company, which deals with the construction of tunnels in the United States, as well as the co-founder of Neuralink, which develops brain-machine interfaces.
