Elon Musk just made a prediction for 2030

A few twenty-four hours ago, Elon Musk gave a new interview at the ONS Foundation Conference held in Norway, where he received many questions about the future of renewable energy sources and the issue of the energy crisis that is of particular concern to European citizens and not only.
In the context of the said interview, the head of Tesla and SpaceX referred to fossil fuels and the development of a sustainable economy. In particular, the world’s richest man stated that the Earth needs more oil and natural gas , but at the same time it should make efforts to develop more sustainable energy. After this statement Musk made the prediction that by 2030 almost half of the cars that will be manufactured by all companies worldwide will be electric.
The world needs more oil and gas, but at the same time we should make the transition to a more sustainable economy as quickly as possible.
I think that by 2030 almost half of all cars produced will be electric.
Then, Musk also addressed the issue of battery production, which is necessary for electric cars, emphasizing:
There is no shortage of raw materials in the world for making batteries.
Finally, Elon Musk revealed both things that keep him up at night, being his biggest ambitions. Specifically, he answered this question in the following characteristic way:
A Starship that will be in orbit and Tesla cars that will be able to drive fully autonomously.
