The creator of Fallout New Vegas would like to make another Fallout
And he already has ideas for the setting
On the occasion of the release of his new game, Pentiment, Obsidian Entertainment ‘s talented designer Josh Sawyer gave an all-out interview to Kinda Funny Games.
In this context, in addition to his new project, he also talked about his experience with the development of Fallout New Vegas , which he described as “crazy”, since the entire game was made in just 18 months, but at the same time “satisfying ».
In fact, Sawyer didn’t just stop there and seemed quite positive when asked if he’s open to returning to the franchise at some point in the future.
I love Fallout, I love the setting, I could imagine myself working on it again, but you know, we’ll see where the future takes me.
In fact, after a related question, he revealed that he also has some ideas for the setting in which this theoretical Fallout project could take place.
I’m not sure. I haven’t thought about it in quite some time, because it had come into my life and then left. I’ve talked about New Orleans before. I think California or the midwestern states would also be very interesting.
I’m a big believer in finding things that I obviously have to be passionate about as a director, but also that the team is really excited about and that work within the larger concept of each franchise.
