Dream: The famous Minecraft YouTuber revealed his face (VIDEO)  

And it went absolutely viral

After the intense teasing of the last few weeks, the famous YouTuber Dream has finally revealed his face.

Taking things from the beginning, Dream has been on the platform since 2014, but despite having over 30 million subscribers and almost 3 billion views , he had never shown his face. In fact, Dream had not revealed his appearance in real life, nor in any of the numerous collaborations he had done with other channels of the platform and despite the requests of his millions of fans. Somehow, the whole thing had turned into one of YouTube’s biggest mysteries, with the icing on the cake being the fact that its brand was based on a very simple sketch by a little man.

That all changed on September 19, when Dream announced that he would finally reveal his face through his next video. Finally, the big reveal took place on the first Sunday of October. Through his main channel he posted a video titled “hi, I’m Dream”. In it, after pestering viewers for a while longer by showing off his setup (which includes a framed Gueniess World Record he owns), he finally revealed his appearance.

The reason Dream has now made this decision is because a friend of his is coming to stay with him. Since it would look like that in his videos anyway, he decided to make the revelation himself. At this point it’s worth mentioning that Dream will continue to make regular Minecraft videos without showing his face, but he did say that he will start posting more real-life content on his channel as well.

For the record, the whole thing went terribly viral, with Dream’s video already counting 10 million views within a few hours, while the hashtag #dreamfacereveal is still trending on social media, with the creator’s tweet having over 600 thousands of likes.
