Google: The date of its new hardware event for the Pixel 7 is locked   

And the announcement came shortly before the Apple show

In an announcement that certainly did not have random timing at all, i.e. just a few hours before Apple’s big ‘Far Out’ event that will host the unveiling of the iPhone 14, Google invited everyone to tune in to its own hardware event.

Going into details, the new #MadeByGoogle show is set for Thursday, October 6 at 5:00 PM. (Greece time). The event in question will focus on the new Pixel 7 series smartphones, as well as Google’s brand new smartwatch, the Pixel Watch . Of course, both the new Pixel and the Pixel Watch have already been confirmed at Google’s recent I/O, however, the company wants to prepare the ground before the final release in the fall by revealing the rest of the information we don’t know.

At this point it is worth mentioning that we know that the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will come with a special design, with their cameras housed in a horizontal metal bar that goes from edge to edge. At the same time, they are expected to make use of the brand new Android 13, which has already started rolling out to other devices.

Also of interest is the Pixel Watch, which will be the first smartwatch made entirely by Google, even though the company has been active in the category for years, especially when it comes to software.
