Elon Musk wants to decide Ukraine’s future via…Twitter
And the tycoon in the role of negotiator
Elon Musk decided to ask his 107.7 million Twitter followers what the future of Ukraine should be. So he invited them to vote on whether they agree to re-run elections under the supervision of the United Nations in the areas occupied by Russia, Crimea to remain Russian and Ukraine to remain neutral.
The President of Ukraine responded via Twitter with his own poll, asking users if they liked the world’s richest man when he still supported Ukraine.
Musk was quick to emphasize that he still supports Ukraine, but is convinced that an escalation of the war will cause great harm to Ukraine itself and perhaps to the whole world, noting that ” a possible but rather small outcome of this conflict is the nuclear war ”.
The Kremlin welcomed Musk’s proposals.
It is very positive that someone like Elon Musk is looking for a peaceful way to resolve this situation. – Dmitry Peskov
It’s worth noting that at the time of writing, Musk and Zelensky’s posts have garnered nearly 2.5 million votes each.
