Warner Bros. still looking for her “Kevin Feige”  

And this is because Dan Lin will not take over

Several weeks ago we informed you with relevant news that Warner Bros. Discovery was looking for – and probably found – its own “ Kevin Feige ”. More specifically, Dan Lin was in discussions to become the head of DC, for the newly reorganized company and would control both the DC film universe and all television projects. Eventually this “scenario” was cancelled .

The reason; As CNBC now reports , Dan Lin will ultimately not take on this role at the new Warner, since the two were unable to find each other. According to reports, negotiations have reached an impasse regarding Rideback, the production company run by Lin.

Lin reportedly wanted to continue in Rideback with an equity stake owned by WB Discovery, but the two sides ultimately could not agree on appropriate compensation.

This means that these two are now parting ways and Warner Bros. Discovery is left hanging again and looking for the new “head” of DC from the beginning. Whoever ends up taking on that “role” should first talk to new Warner CEO David Zaslav , who will play an important role in DC’s future at Warner Bros. Discovery.
