RUMOR: iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will not have “traditional” buttons

Another rumor about the next Apple phones

Apple ‘s iPhone 14 series has not yet been released, and rumors concerning the iPhone 15 are coming to light . In particular, the well-known analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, now says that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will not have the “traditional” buttons you know.

It seems that the company wants to replace the volume buttons and the “power button” with “ solid-state buttons ”, which will be similar to the Touch-ID seen on the iPhone 7 and other phones. In essence, the rumors say that the Pro models of the iPhone 15 series will come with “buttons” that will not be “pressed” and instead the user will receive a feedback like that of Touch-ID, when turning down or up the volume or presses the power button.

Kuo predicts that this change will happen in the high-end models that will be released in the second half of next year.

My latest research indicates that the volume buttons and power button will be replaced with solid-state “buttons” on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. This is a design similar to what we saw with Touch-ID on the iPhone 7,8,SE2 and SE3.

Everything heard lately about the iPhone 15:

According to a MacRumors publication based on data from the well-known research company TrendForce, the iPhone 15 Pro models will come with increased RAM that will now amount to 8GB. At the same time, the upgrades will not stop there, since the medium points out that the camera will also be significantly improved, while the charging port will also change, with Apple adopting USB-C.

The latter is something that the company practically confirmed with its statements recently, pointing out that it will be forced to follow the directives of the European Union.

Moving on, TrendForce’s information again talks about four models in terms of the iPhone 15 lineup, two basic and two Pro. All will come with upgraded processors, with the basic models making the switch to the A16 and the Pros bringing the all-new A17 Bionic chip.

Returning to the RAM, it is reported that the simple iPhone 15 will still have 6GB. This means that the “scissors” in relation to the Pro will be even bigger, since we will have a better processor and more RAM. It is worth noting that at the moment, all iPhone 14 (14, Plus, Pro & Pro Max) come with 6GB of RAM.

Finally, in terms of camera upgrades, the new rumor points out that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a telephoto lens with a periscope function, allowing for 10x optical zoom or perhaps even more. Current models go up to 3x zoom.
