The Watcher: The new Netflix series that wants to become your new crush is out
Are you ready to binge watch?
The Watcher is available on Greek Netflix from today and wants to be your next hit. This brand new show arrived at the hands of Ryan Murphy , a well-known creator who is responsible for American Horror Story , among others .
This is another “creepy” series and it stars Naomi Watts of King King and Mulholland Drive, Bobby Cannavale of Ant-Man and Blue Jasmine and Ian Brennan of Ratched. Paris Barclay, Henry Joost, Ariel Schulman and Max Winkler have also directed the seven episodes .
The show is inspired by real events that happened in New Jersey, where the owners of a house, received some letters from a stranger for many years, even saying that he has been watching their house for decades. When this family finally managed to rent the house, the new owners received the same threatening letters.
The Netflix synopsis states:
When the Brannock family moves into their dream home in the suburbs, their lives soon become a living hell. Dark letters from someone calling himself “The Watcher” are just the beginning, as the neighborhood’s ominous secrets unravel. Inspired by the true story of the infamous “Watcher” house in New Jersey.
