Windows 11: AI will also spread to the Microsoft Store

Artificial intelligence will be present in every Microsoft product

Microsoft’s Build Developer Conference 2023 was the company’s announcement that artificial intelligence will spread everywhere and in every product. Of course, Windows 11 would not be missing from the equation , which will integrate “Copilot” which will essentially be an AI in the standards of ChatGPT within the operating system.

AI will also “soon” be integrated into the Microsoft Windows Store with the dedicated “AI Hub” section, which will be a specially curated part of Microsoft’s digital store that will promote the best AI apps and experiences. Through this it hopes to educate the public and users on how to start their AI journey but also how to evolve it and use artificial intelligence to improve productivity and ignite their creativity.

The revamped Windows Store will also gain app review summaries from AI, taking user comments and feedback to create an overall picture of each app. So the user will not need to “sift” the comments and the thousands of reviews to understand what it is about.

Developers will also receive relevant AI support such as automatically generated keywords and suggested search tags in the Partner Center. This will use AI to ” consume your metadata, as well as other signals, and help improve your app’s visibility in Microsoft Store search results .” The company is also adding the ability to list your app in multiple categories.

Microsoft Store ads will also be enhanced with AI. First, they’ll be added to Bing search results starting next month, so people who use their browsers to search for things will also know about related Windows apps. Next month, in particular, they will expand beyond the US market to more than 150 territories around the world.
