Joe E. Tata: “Nat” of Beverly Hills 90210 has passed away

At the age of 85

In the spotlight came an unpleasant news stating that the famous actor, Joe E. Tata passed away at the age of 85. The actor who became famous for his role as “Nat” in the popular series Beverly Hills 90210 has passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

The news of his death was broken by Ian Ziering, who uploaded a photo of Tata and said the following:

In the last few months we have lost Jessica Klein, one of the most prolific writers and producers on 90210, Denise Douse who played Mrs. Teasley and now I am very sad to say that Joe E. Tata has passed away. Joey was truly a god. I remember seeing him in Rockford with James Garner several years before we worked together on 90210. He was the one hiding behind the bad guys in the Batman series.

One of the happiest people I have ever worked with, he was so generous, so wise and so kind. We shared many stories and incredible experiences in the entertainment industry. He may have been in the back of many scenes, but he was always a leader, especially for us. He showed us how much we appreciate this gift called 90210. My smile fades today, but I enjoy the fond memories. He will stay in my heart forever. My sincere condolences to his family and friends and everyone else he was loved too. Rest in peace Joey.

The actor had starred in many shows and movies such as Batman from 1966 to 1968, Lost in Space in 1967, It’s Good to Be Alive in 1974, The Time Tunnel in 1966, The Rockford Files and many other projects.
