The Flash: The epic new trailer has two Batmans, two Flashes and all the Multiverse madness!
Barry Allen fights to reboot the DC universe
Warner Bros. Pictures has released, in the midst of Super Bowl 2023 , the new official trailer for the movie The Flash with Ezra Miller in the title role, giving a first chaotic look at the madness of the DC Multiverse.
And what Multiverse is this? One that returns many familiar faces as in addition to Michael Keaton as Batman, who will also be the main character of the film, we will see Ben Affleck in another appearance in the role of Bruce Wayne, but also Michael Shannon’s General Zod, who he is the main villain of the film.
The film’s script has Barry trapped in another universe in an attempt to save his mother. Except that General Zod returns and threatens Earth with annihilation, which has no other superheroes to save it. Except for a retired Bruce Wayne/Batman and an imprisoned Kryptonian. And no it’s not another Superman but Sasha Calle’s Supergirl.
The trailer of Andy Muschietti’s film looks very impressive if nothing else, with shots that will make DC fans rub their eyes.

The Flash synopsis states:“Worlds collide in ‘The Flash’ when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family accidentally changes the future, Barry is caught in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening humanity with annihilation, and there are no superheroes to turn to for help, unless Barry can convince a very different Batman to come out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian. .. though not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world he’s in and return to the future he knows, Barry’s only hope is to run for his life. But the ultimate sacrifice will be enough to bring him back the universe;”
The Flash directed by Andy Muschietti also stars: Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, and Ron Livingston .
The Flash will open in theaters on June 16, 2023.
