Starlink: Elon Musk’s satellite internet officially works on every continent on Earth

Big milestone for the service

Starlink , SpaceX ‘s satellite network that brings internet access to even the most remote areas of Earth, has just reached a new milestone. And it officially works on all the continents of the planet . This means that there is now satellite internet coverage in Asia, America, Africa, Europe, Oceania, even in Antarctica, which although not inhabited, being a huge frozen area, is considered by many as the sixth continent.

Specifically, a few hours ago, Elon Musk , head and founder of the well-known aerospace technology company, commented through his always active Twitter account that another 54 Starlink satellites are now in orbit around the Earth.

A few hours later, with a new publication, he referred to the great milestone, emphasizing:

Stalink is now active on all Continents, including Antarctica.

The publications in question follow below:

It was said and done, then, the richest man on the planet. Starlink now offers internet to practically every corner of the planet. For the record, the whole venture started in 2019 with the launch of 60 satellites. Now the network consists of more than 2,300 satellites, serving more than 500 thousand active subscribers worldwide.

At this point it should be mentioned that the service also debuted in our country at the beginning of May 2022.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that recently Elon Musk stated, again through his Twitter, that Starlink is intended for peaceful use only. And this post follows below.
