App Store prices will increase very soon in Europe
But it won’t affect subscriptions
Apple has announced that it will soon raise App Store prices in several countries, including Japan and many others in Europe , for both apps and in-app purchases.
In addition to countries using the euro, app prices and purchases within them will also increase in Chile, Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Sweden and Vietnam.
For those who don’t know how App Store pricing works, Apple provides developers with pre-set tiers at which they can price their app, and so these tiers using the Euro are set to increase on October 5th.
For example, the first tier will increase from 0.99 euros to 1.19 euros, while the maximum tier is expected to increase from 999 euros to 1,199 euros, according to Apple.
