Changes are coming to the platform

TikTok is upgrading its livestreaming features again, and this time the biggest change affects people who ca n’t watch it. TikTok is therefore launching livestreams which are aimed only at adults . If a livestream, for example, might contain profanity or deal with topics that some might consider traumatic content, streamers can make sure their audience is mature enough to handle it.

The changes will be available in the coming weeks. And if you’re wondering if TikTok is going to become OnlyFans, note that at least for now, its policy still prohibits sexual content. However, it has not been made clear whether the Adults-Only Live feature will be more lenient on this type of content.

In addition, TikTok is raising the minimum age of users who can livestream from 16 to 18. The changes will take place on November 23rd.
