The RPG game from the creators of Hitman will probably be an Xbox exclusive

Some information has come to light that indicates that IO Interactive , the well-known team behind the Hitman games, is preparing a new fantasy RPG that will probably be an Xbox exclusive .

The news comes from various emails and documents brought to the public by IGN , which were presented during the hearing between Microsoft and the FTC. These documents say that Xbox is working with this development team for a game codenamed “ Project Dragon ”.

This refers to the 33rd ^page of the leaked PDF and more specifically the section with the games that are going to be released on Xbox. So above it is mentioned that Project Dragon will be released on PC and Xbox Series X|S platforms . The file says it’s an RPG shooter game.

In addition, in the photo you will find below, it is written that Project Dragon will be published by “XGS”, i.e. Xbox Game Studios . Let us tell you at this point, that it was known that IO Interactive was working on an RPG, but we never knew its code name.

According to the studio, this is a brand new IP with online elements in a world created to entertain players and expand for many years into the future. I mean something like Destiny.

At the moment we do not know if this title will indeed be exclusive to Xbox, although we remind you that there were various rumors from 2021 saying that the studio is preparing a fantasy game for Microsoft’s consoles.
