Did you miss it? Skyrim Anniversary Edition has just been released on a new platform

Continuing the series of ports

Another day, another Skyrim re-release . Yes, a new version of Bethesda ‘s beloved RPG has just arrived on the Nintendo Switch .

Moving on to details, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is now available on Nintendo’s hybrid console. This is the anniversary edition that was first released on November 11, 2021, to celebrate ten years since the original debut of the title, while upgrading the technical field for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

In addition to technical improvements, the Anniversary Edition also comes with new content. Among other things it has new quests, new enemies and new weapons, including additions inspired by the previous chapters of the series, Morrowind and Oblivion. Of course, the bundle includes the most updated version of the base game, as well as all of Bethesda’s own DLCs, namely Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn.

It should be noted that Skyrim first came to the Nintendo Switch in 2017, through a version that supported motion controls and had Nintendo themed content unlocked with amiibos. Owners of this original edition will be able to upgrade to the Anniversary Edition without having to pay the full price, which amounts to €69.99 .
