Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse – Miles Morales takes on Spot in the new official trailer!

Date in theaters this June

After the short teaser video we saw a few hours ago, Sony Pictures has finally opened its cards and published the official trailer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse . The new adventures of Miles Morales are expected to be explosive, with many “Spider-Men” now coming from the multiverse.

The official video for the film naturally begins with Morales, played by Shameik Moore , being transported back into the multi-verse, where there are hundreds of Spider-Men and timelines. All of them have only one goal, to join forces and face a dangerous villain, Spot ( Jason Schwartzman) , who has disastrous plans.

However, it seems that Spot will not be the only villain of the film, since Miles Morales will also deal with the Spider-Force, a group of the multiverse that does not have good intentions.

The synopsis of the film reads:

Miles Morales returns in the new chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-verse saga, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, the now full-time neighborhood Spider-Man, launches into the Spider-Universe where he meets a group of Spider-Man who have one mission: to protect it at all costs.
But when the heroes clash over how to handle the new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the rest of the Spider-Men and forced to redefine what it means to be a hero. Only then will he be able to save those he loves.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson , while the script is written by Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Dave Callaham . Shameik Moore ‘s Miles Morales embarks on a new adventure alongside Hailee Steinfeld ‘s Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman and a new team of Spider-Man.

New addition to the cast is Issa Rae as Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, while returning from the first film are Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099 and Jake Johnson as Peter B.
