Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 – Beta starts this week

The countdown has begun for the Call of Duty community , as this week is set to be really busy. Specifically, tomorrow September 15 at 19:30 the #CODNext Showcase Event is expected to take place live, which will present everything we need to know about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II , while its first beta is just around the corner.

More specifically, as is customary in recent years, fans will have the opportunity to try the game before its final release. In particular, there will be three betas, with each one divided by platform. PlayStation owners will be the first to play, through the early access beta that will be held on September 16-17 for PS4 and PS5 and for those who have pre-ordered the game . Then, the open beta of PlayStation consoles will “run” from September 18 to 20.

Next up is the Modern Warfare 2 Crossplay Beta where the platforms open up and both Xbox and PC gamers get into the game. Early access owners will play from September 22-23, while on September 24-26 the beta will be open to all players and all platforms.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II release date and platforms

Let us remind you that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is scheduled to be released on  October 28, 2022 , for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. In fact, the computer version, in addition to Battle.net, will also come to Steam after many years of absence of the franchise.

Finally, later in the year the brand new Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be released on the same platforms.
