No more using Midjourney for free
Due to extensive abuse
Midjourney is currently the most advanced AI image generation tool. It seems to be putting an end to its free use, however, as it has been found to be abusing its capabilities to produce deepfake images of high-profile people. Since the release of the new version, Midjourney 5 , which makes extremely realistic depictions of people, the internet has been flooded with fake celebrity images. Some of the most viral ones are that of Pope Francis wearing a designer coat and dancing in a club.
Discord that his company is ending the program’s free trial due to ”
extreme demand and abuse .”
The security measures adopted by the company seem to have been insufficient to prevent the misuse of the program in the free trial.
The $10 per month subscription model, however, remains the same.
