Jason Momoa says his ‘Conan the Barbarian’ movie was awful

Even though he had a good time on set

Jason Momoa has experienced great success in the film industry with hits such as Aquaman and Dune . However, as the actor himself says, there is one film of his that he considers awful and completely…s**t. If you still haven’t figured out which movie Momoa is referring to, it’s Conan the Barbarian , which he starred in in 2011.

The film had received very bad reviews, while at the same time it had done badly at the box office with revenues of about $63 million, while it had a budget of $90 million. Momoa spoke to GQ magazine and said that the “Conan” movie that came out was not the “Conan” movie that he thought he was making.

I’ve been in a lot of things that were really awful, as well as movies that you couldn’t do anything about. Conan was one of those projects. It’s one of the best experiences I’ve had and it turned into a pile of sh**.

It was hard because people think I’m just this guy who plays macho characters. But I wanted to change. I wanted something new. Things change and even the villain roles I play now are wacky.

Momoa’s upcoming films include playing a villain in “Fast and Furious 10” and returning as Aquaman in the DC sequel, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”
