Wolverine: His return in Deadpool 3 will be without limits and “R-rated”

Everything Marvel’s Kevin Feige had to say about Hugh Jackman’s big return

Kevin Feige ‘s interview with Entertainment Weekly had many revealing aspects about Phase 5 and 6 of the MCU . In between everything he talked about, the president of Marvel Studios wanted to share his excitement about Hugh Jackman ‘s big return to the role of Wolverine for the sake of Deadpool 3 .

This will be Deadpool’s and Wolverine’s first film within the MCU after all, and Feige wanted to articulate for the umpteenth time the “R-rated” nature of the film. For those who don’t know, R-rated is when a film receives the age classification “not suitable for minors ” in theaters or the equivalent ” suitable for over 18 years ” in the age rating system of Greek television.

Its amazing. And we’ll have the return of Hugh Jackman for our first Deadpool movie within the MCU. This is also our first R-rated movie. That Hugh is coming back is incredible.

In this way, Feige again proclaims that the return of Wolverine will be exactly as we remembered him, that is, wild, brutal, with caustic humor and generally without leashes. This will of course be helped by the comedic nature of Ryan Reynolds ‘ role as Deadpool, since it is said to be a “buddy cop” type movie.

We recently learned about the third cast name which is Emma Corrin from the Netflix series The Crown . In Deadpool 3, which may be finally called “Wolverine and Deadpool” , the two will be like dog and cat, as Hugh Jackman has teased in recent interviews. In a recent interview, Charlie Cox  stated that “there is room” for   Daredevil to  appear in the film.

Let’s remember that Deadpool 3 was directed by  Shawn Levy of ” Free Guy “, “The Adam Project ” and “Stranger Things “, while Rhett Reese  and  Paul Wernick  from Deadpool and Deadpool 2 return to the script.

Deadpool 3 is expected to hit theaters on November 8, 2024.
