True to its monthly appointment, Google has just released version 108 of its popular Chrome browser , which brings some very useful new features and welcome improvements.

Starting with the new features, Chrome 108 adds the brand new “Energy Saver” mode . This is a feature that does exactly what it promises, which is to reduce the resources consumed by the browser, thus increasing battery life for laptop users. The feature has been added to both Chrome OS and the desktop version of the browser and for now it can only be used by activating the relevant flag chrome://flags/#battery-saver-mode-available.
