Andy Serkis: New Planet of the Apes Movie ‘Will Blow Your Mind’

Some time ago we learned that 20 ^th Century Fox is preparing a sequel in the Planet of the Apes universe , and some interesting information has just been released. As we know, the new name of the film is Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and will star Owen Teague (It), Freya Allen (The Witcher) and Peter Macon (The Orville) among others .

Now, speaking to Cinemablend , Andy Serkis , who starred in the franchise’s earlier films, said that Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will “blow your mind “.

I think Wes Ball will do an amazing job with this movie. I think from what I’ve seen and heard it’s an amazing job. And where they chose to take the story, I think it will blow your mind.

Wes Ball , who gave us the trilogy “The Maze Runner” will be the director, and Josh Friedman will write the screenplay, along with Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Patrick Aison (Prey).

“Kingdom” is the beginning of an entirely new part of the Planet of the Apes saga, which begins many years after the conclusion of War for the Planet of the Apes.
