Gamer was struck by lightning while playing PlayStation and ended up in the hospital!

Fortunately no serious injuries

A truly incredible incident happened a few days ago in England, when an unsuspecting gamer was struck by lightning while casually playing PlayStation on the sofa at home.

Going into details, we are talking about 33-year-old Aidan Rowan, who revealed the story through his personal account on Instagram. Specifically, the young man reported that he was happily playing the adorable game Stray, in which you control a cute kitten, when he suddenly heard a loud click and felt a very strong jolting sensation.

Aidan had to be treated for five hours in hospital, where it was confirmed that he had been struck by lightning. At this point you will be wondering how this happened while the gamer was inside the house!

Aidan’s bad luck was such that lightning bounced off the water and landed on him through the open window next to him, doctors speculated.

Speaking to the British media Metro, he said:

I was on the sofa playing a game where you are a stray cat while it was raining outside.

A very strong lightning struck and I felt a very strong sensation all over and burning on my right hand, where there are now burns.

It took about a minute to recover and I felt very, very confused.

Aidan revealed that when he arrived at the emergency room at the hospital, he was examined by nine doctors, all from different departments. Luckily he was fine in the end and was only left with a series of scars on his left hand and a burn on his right.
