Werewolf by Night: Marvel’s first horror movie available on Greek Disney+
From Michael Giacchino comes the tribute to old school black and white horror
Marvel Studios ‘ Werewolf By Night marks a new beginning for the MCU and its projects with a “Marvel Studios Special Presentation” and is now available on Disney Plus.
It is essentially the first horror film of the MCU , which although PG-13 in the age classification, has a lot of scenes of normal old-school horror, since due to the black and white aesthetics it pays tribute to the old school of horror films of the 60s and earlier. At the moment we do not know exactly what form the Marvel Studios Special Presentation will take, but the length of Werewolf by Night is 54 minutes, that is, on the border of a feature film.
The creator and director of this special ” Marvel Studios Special Presentation ” is composer Michael Giacchino , who makes his debut in this role here, while also performing his frequent duties of signing the soundtrack.
Werewolf By Bight stars Gael Garcia Bernal ( Amores Perros, Babel, Coco ) as Jack Russel or Marvel’s “Werewolf” and co-stars Laura Donnelly ( Outlander ) as Elsa Bloodstone.
The summary of Werewolf by Night:
On a heavy, dark night, a secret sect of monster hunters emerges from the shadows and gathers at the imposing Bloodstone Temple, following the death of their leader. In a strange and macabre ceremony in his memory, those present begin a mysterious and deadly contest with the prize of a powerful relic – a hunt that will bring them face to face with a dangerous monster.
Another “special” movie will be Guardians of the Galaxy: The Holiday Special directed by James Gunn which will be released in December.
Werewolf by Night is released today on Greek Disney+ as the first project of “Marvel Studios Special Presentation”.
