For the record, this isn’t the first time Bloober Team has teamed up with Platige Image for something related to The Medium, as the team in question also took over the game’s live action trailer, which might show what we can expect. we are also waiting for the TV series.
In case you are not familiar with the game, in his detailed review for Unboxholics.com, Sakis Karpas stated:
The Medium is a Silent Hill tribute, trying to keep the survival horror genre alive in the most traditional way. During the roughly 6-7 hours that it lasts, you will see an interesting script, superficial character presentation, some beautiful set pieces and ambitious mechanics that, however, scratch the surface and do not reach deeper. It’s not a bad game and of course I recommend it to fans of the genre. After all, just for Akira Yamaoka’s soundtrack, it’s worth experiencing. As a game it’s nothing huge though. He is tormented by several technical problems and the most important thing is that he is trying to find himself, with a foreign canvas and foreign brushes. Even though it didn’t click for me, I want to give my credit to the Bloober Team for at least trying to give in 2021 something that shined in previous decades. It takes guts and confidence to deliver a static camera game in this day and age, and for that alone, it earns my full respect. The Poles came to stay…
