We finally learned what Lucasfilm and Studio Ghibli are preparing for the Star Wars universe after several days of filling their social media pages with teasers.
Hayao Miyazaki ‘s legendary studio is preparing an animated short film for Disney Plus in collaboration with Lucasfilm, starring… Baby Yoda (aka Grogu) and it’s launching today on Disney Plus.
In ” Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies “, as it is officially titled, there will be familiar “faces” from the creations of Hayao Miyazaki. So it seems that the Dust Bunnies from the masterpiece Spirited Away will appear next to Baby Yoda and thus the universes of Studio Ghibli and Star Wars will meet for the first time!
In fact, a great detail of this animated short is that it was designed entirely “by hand”, as the announcement points out.

The legendary animator and creator was even photographed for one of Studio Ghibli’s teasers a few hours before the project was officially revealed.
When is it released?
Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies is out today November 12th on Disney Plus. However, it has not yet appeared on the Greek Disney Plus so stay tuned for more.
