The curtain rose on PlayStation’s State of Play show with a huge announcement. Specifically, Bandai Namco revealed Tekken 8 .
Yes, the new chapter of the beloved and historic fighting series is a fact. In the first trailer we also saw gameplay footage, with the battle starting right after a cutscene with really impressive graphics.
So, through the player below, you can get a taste of Jin Kazama’s intense matchup with Kazuya Mishima, who are the first two confirmed characters on the roster.
It’s worth noting that since the reveal took place at a Sony show, the only officially confirmed release platform is currently the PS5 . Most likely the game will come to other consoles as well as PC, but the detail we can extract is that previous generation systems, for example the PS4, will not be supported.

Bandai Namco has confirmed the release of the game on both Xbox Series X|S and PC, as well as that the game is being developed with the Unreal Engine.
