He will be Pete Davidson’s grandfather
Legendary actor Joe Pesci is set to return to your screens after quite some time, as Universal Television has announced that he will play Pete Davidson ‘s grandfather in the Peacock’s upcoming series, “ Bupkins ”.
The show in question is based on Davidson’s real life, with Edie Falco playing his mother. In fact, it will be the 2nd project based on Davidson’s life after Judd Apatow ‘s The King of Staten Island . So Bupkis will be Joe Pesci’s new TV job, after NBC’s Half Nelson.
In addition to starring in the show, Davidson will write the script and executive produce. However, his longtime friend and collaborator Dave Sirus will also write the screenplay, along with Judah Miller. Jason Orley, director of I Want You Back , will be the director here.
Joe Pesci has played in huge and legendary movies such as: Goodfellas, Raging Bull, My Cousin Vinny, The Irishman, Eureka, Once Upon a Time in America, Home Alone and others.
Bupkis will play exclusively on Peacock but we don’t know exactly when.
