Google will start deleting accounts that are inactive!
Her new policy
Google announced that it is updating its policy on inactive accounts and will delete them if they have not been used for at least two years . The company said that these accounts that are inactive for such a long time are more likely to be hacked, especially if they do not have two-factor authentication enabled.
This means that together with the account, all the content that the user has in his account will be deleted, such as emails, files in Google Drive, photos and the YouTube account. The new policy applies to personal accounts, not those created for businesses and schools.
Some inactive accounts will be deleted from December 2023, during which time Google will notify these users with various emails.
It is worth noting that the first will be those accounts which were created and never used again. To keep an account from being deleted, all you have to do is log in to it. Google says it’s a good idea to sign in to your account at least once every two years.
