Elon Musk has surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo and entered the Top 5 on Twitter

As we had informed you recently, Elon Musk ‘s extremely active Twitter account reached the big milestone of 100 million followers, becoming only the sixth person in the world to do so.
Now, the richest man on the planet, who in recent weeks has been almost constantly at the center of online discussions, both for the deal worth 44 billion dollars to buy the famous social media and for various other issues, has managed to reach another important landmark on the platform. And officially, Musk entered the Top 5 Twitter users with the most followers.
Continuing to go absolutely viral, Musk managed to overtake Cristiano Ronaldo who was previously in fifth place. Notably, the Manchester United striker had 101.4 million followers at the end of June, when Musk broke the 100 million mark. Now, about a month later, Ronaldo’s account has reached 102.3 million followers, while Musk has gained 2.4 million followers in the same period to overtake him.
So, with the momentum that the head of Tesla and SpaceX has right now, it’s probably a matter of a few months before he surpasses Rihanna and maybe even Katy Perry, to occupy the third place on the platform, since the accounts of the two singers they have been almost stagnant lately.
