Crazy Google blunder: He went to troll Apple and got caught in the act!
History repeats itself
As it seems, Google ‘s marketing team went for the wool and came out…with a haircut, after publicly trying to troll Apple , promoting its new flagship, the Pixel 7 Pro , only to make a small mistake !
Going into details, it all started when the head of Apple, Tim Cook, started preparing the ground for the launch of the new iPad Pro by tweeting with the hashtag #TakeNote. The official Google Pixel Twitter account, therefore, decided to seize the opportunity by mockingly responding to Cook’s post while promoting the Pixel devices.
However, what the unfortunate social media manager forgot is that every tweet made from an iPhone device bears the distinctive marking ‘Twitter for iPhone’. Somehow, the irony counters hit red. Immediately, social media users began to point out that the Google troll post that was intended to exploit Apple’s hashtag to promote the Pixels, not only was not made by the new Pixel 7 Pro, but instead was made using an iPhone !
Of course, it only took a short time for the tweet to be deleted and redone without the… incriminating evidence, but the damage was already done, as social media users captured the mistake.

Of course, Google’s crazy blunder is not the first such incident. For example, last year in January Samsung was caught promoting its Galaxy Unpacked event using not a Galaxy, but… an iPhone. At the same time, Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot also fell into the trap in 2018, when she started promoting Huawei’s Mate 10 using an iPhone as well.
