Another video from Splatoon 3 to get you properly prepared

In a few days the release of the title

Nintendo has released yet another long-form video from Splatoon 3 , in which we get a good dose of its tracks and gameplay in general. No, it’s not a trailer, but a Treehouse: Live video that shows us the tracks and strategies you’ll be able to follow in the 3rd chapter of the franchise.

Some information about the game:

Nintendo has confirmed that in this game you will also see a new type of weapon, the “Splatana”. As the name suggests, it’s an ink-based sword (of course), which you’ll be able to equip and throw ink at, almost like paintbrushes.

The new Splatfests will have not two, but three competing sides. The first teams will take part in a standard Turf War battle, but then they will be transferred to a special Tri-color Turf War with all three teams fighting at the same time.

Splatoon 3 will also have a puzzle game called “Table Turf Battle” where you have to play 1v1 with another player, collect cards (which are 150 in total) in a game that looks a lot like the legendary Tetris .

For the story, Splatoon 3 will feature an all-new single-player campaign in which players will battle the Octarians in the new town of Splatsville to find out what’s going on with the resurgence of the mammals. At the same time, the Salmon Run co-op mode of Splatoon 2 will also return renewed.

The Splatoon 3 maps are as follows:

  • Inkblot Art Academy – Return from Splatoon 2
  • Sturgeon Shipyard – Back from Splatoon 2
  • Makomart – Return from Splatoon 2
  • Wahoo World – Return from Splatoon 2
