New record in 5G from Samsung

Samsung Electronics has announced that it has achieved a new record in data transfer speeds on a 5G mmWave network. In partnership with NBN Co. in Australia, which is developing various software improvements for 5G networks, managed to reach 1.75Gbps in average download speed and 61.5 Mbps in average upload speed in data transfer.

The maximum download speed achieved was 2.7 Gbps. The most impressive of all, is that these speeds were achieved at a distance of 10 kilometers from the source!

Samsung considers this to be an important development in the development of 5G technology, especially for rural areas.
