iPhone: Apple has released a new update for those with older models
iOS 15.7.2 and iPadOS 15.7.2 have arrived
As we informed you , Apple recently made available the new iOS 16.2 update for all the latest iPhone models, improving the experience especially for those with iPhone 14 Pro. However, the tech giant didn’t just stop there and at the same time released a new update for owners of older devices, including the iPhone 6S and iPad Air 2.
Going into details, iOS 15.7.2 and iPadOS 15.7.2 are now available for users who have an iPhone or iPad that does not support iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 respectively. More specifically, these new updates are available for the following devices:
- iPhone 7
- iPhone 7 Plus
- iPhone SE 1
- iPhone 6S
- iPhone 6S Plus
- iPod Touch 7G
- iPad mini 4
- iPad Air 2
As far as their changes go, there isn’t any new notable feature, with the updates focused entirely on security. So, Apple closes various holes that were discovered in its software and may have affected the owners of older devices.
