After hiring two former DeepMind engineers, Elon Musk proceeded to purchase 10,000 graphics cards for use in one of the company’s two data centers. Sources say that Musk’s goal is to create an AI, as such a large investment for a data center does not make sense if they are not used for artificial intelligence.
The goal is believed to be the creation of a productive AI that will be trained on a huge amount of data. It remains unknown how Twitter plans to use this technology. It is likely that it will improve the search on the platform or help the company to improve the ads.
It is worth noting that Musk has openly criticized OpenAI for creating ChatGPT, calling for a 6-month pause in the development of productive artificial intelligence.
