Dwayne Johnson: “This is the best Superman ever”
It certainly blows your mind who he chose
A while ago we learned that Henry Cavill will once again return as Superman to the DC Universe , after almost 10 years since Man of Steel was released in 2013. Now, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has officially said who he is in in his opinion the best actor to wear the iconic “red cape”.
Specifically, through a video he uploaded on Twitter, in which he celebrated the release of Black Adam in digital format, Johnson said among other things that he pushed hard to bring Cavill back as Superman. In fact, he declared for the first time that he is the best actor to ever play this role.
He obviously showed respect for Christopher Reeve ‘s Superman , but made it clear that Henry Cavill “is above everyone else.”

Henry Cavill is our generation’s Superman and, in my opinion, the best of them all. And I mean that of course, with respect to the other actors, especially Christopher Reeve, but Henry is the greatest Superman of all time.
For the record, Henry Cavill was introduced as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel in 2013. This was followed by Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League (2017) and Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) on HBO Max. All together the films have grossed over $2.2 billion at the box office.
