Like a Dragon: Ishin! is the new “Yakuza” game for consoles and PC (VIDEO)

Sega and development team Ryu Ga Gatoku Studio announced in State of Play Like a Dragon: Ishin! , a remake of Yakuza: Ishin! which was released for PS3 and PS4 in 2014 in Japan.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is an action-adventure with thriller elements set in Kyo in the 1860s, in a fictional version of Kyoto. In this game you will experience the events of how the iconic era of the Samurai disappeared, while the protagonist is called Sakamoto Ryoma and is considered a historical figure.

In this game you will be able to kill your enemies with your sword in a “Swordsman” style, or shoot them with a gun in a “Gunman” style. You’ll also be able to hold both together, where – as the development team says – havoc ensues, with this style being called “Wild Dancer”. In addition, you will be able to play with your bare hands in the “Brawler” style.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in February 2023.
