Google has revealed the percentage of Android 13 after some time

It has been in circulation for 8 months

Google used to release its Android release statistics every month, but now the company is less transparent about its software usage. The fragmentation of Android in relation to Apple’s software would certainly play an important role in this decision.

Now, for the first time since January, Google has offered new information about the status of Android releases through Android Studio.

So compared to January (5%), the share of Android 13 seems to have more than doubled, reaching 12.1%. However, it should be mentioned that Android 13 has been out for 8 months.

Still, it’s doing better than Android 12, which took about a year to reach 13%. This was helped by the quick availability of upgrades from both Samsung and Chinese companies.

What becomes clear from the graph, however, is that the dominant version of Android remains Android 11 of 2020, about two and a half years after its release, with a market share of 23.5%.
